Thats a really cute artwork of her. Do you use a tablet? The lineart is a bit edgy, somehow the flow is missing. Maybe you could have worked a bit more with the smoothing tool (I use PainttoolSAI and this neat option can help you to get smooth beautiful lines, I don't know if other programs have that, but it would be sad if they haven't). The coloration is quite good, maybe you should work a bit more with shadows, but other than that you do perfectly fine. Its a beautiful painting and her accessories look great. Good job.

Thanks for all the praise and suggestions! :)

No, I don't have or use a tablet, since my main focus is traditional art. I drew this on paper, scanned it and used the pen tool to ink it. This was one of the first times I ever did that, so the lines maybe a little weird. I think there is a smoothing tool in my program, so I'll try it out next time :)

So than its fully understandable and an even greater job (and its your first time ;)). Its really hard to make smooth lines without a tablet (also the smoothing tool is mostly for tablet user), when you work with the mouse its best to use a path or vector tool (there are lots of good tutorials for that on dA). This take a longer time an its also a bit complicated to learn, but you can make really good looking lineart with the mouse. So keep it up ;)

Oh, yeah the pen tool is the vector/path tool. It's what actually draws the vectors. And thanks again!
